Simply confetti

These words were recently posted by our favourite photographer www.essentialimages.co.uk

So what does Confetti mean?

In English.......

Small bits of paper, usually coloured, thrown or dropped from a height to

enhance the fun of a festive event, such as a wedding or even a New

Year's Eve party.

In Italian........

"Confetti" is sugar coated almonds and usually

given out at

weddings, often wrapped in a small organza bag and used

as favours for the guests. The little bags of sweets are

said to represent the hope

that the new couple will have a fertile

marriage.

The Natural Confetti Company make fabulous biodegradable dried confetti

from real flower petals and can be bought online all year round.

The Corn Barn

We supplied the confetti this weekend for the lovely Lisa who was married in a church in Teignmouth Devon. She chose a mixture of red and ivory rose petals and blue and raspberry delphinium petals. The reception followed in this beautiful barn in stunning rolling hills of mid Devon near Cullompton. A full wedding service can also be provided here in the gorgeous Corn Barn.
